Affiliate disclosure

How ThingsVegas earns commissions from partner links, including Viator and Expedia.

Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: March 2026

ThingsVegas is a free resource for Las Vegas visitors. To keep our content free and our site running, we participate in affiliate marketing programs and display advertising. This page explains how these programs work and how they may affect your experience on our site.

A partner pays us a referral fee when a reader uses our link. You pay the same price you would have paid by visiting the vendor directly.

Throughout our website, you will find links to third-party products and services, including:

  • Show and event ticket purchases
  • Hotel and resort bookings
  • Restaurant reservations
  • Attraction and tour tickets
  • Travel-related products and services

When you click on these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission from the merchant. This commission comes at no additional cost to you — the price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the merchant’s website.

Programs used on this rebuild

  • Viator — show and attraction tickets. Tracking parameters used on current CTAs: pid=P00306425 and mcid=42383.
  • Expedia — hotel availability (for example the Bellagio CTA at https://expedia.com/affiliate/BOCUr2x).

Calls to action such as “Buy tickets” or “Check rates” are the affiliate entry points. They use rel="sponsored". Informational links to official venues, public agencies, and our own articles are not affiliate links.

Booking.com links are not part of this pre-cutover import.

Display advertising

We display advertisements on our website through advertising networks such as Google AdSense. These ads are served by third-party companies and may use cookies to display ads based on your browsing history and interests. We do not control the content of these advertisements. Ad tags can be added in the layout after DNS cutover.

Editorial independence

Our affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content or recommendations. We recommend shows, hotels, restaurants, and attractions based on their quality, value, and relevance to our readers — not based on which merchants offer the highest commissions. A page can recommend a free or non-affiliate option when that is the better advice. See also the editorial policy.

Your support

By using our affiliate links when you book shows, hotels, or attractions, you help support ThingsVegas at no extra cost to yourself. This support allows us to continue providing free, comprehensive, and honest Las Vegas travel information.
